From the classical chansons  to the popular chansons

The Chanson genre emerged alongside classical music in France. They were folk songs that expressed romance as well as protest songs. The French Chanson also became popular in Israel in the 1970s.

Program: The Great French Composers — Fauré, Debussy, Poulenc, Ravel, and exciting Chansons on loneliness, love, and smiles.

Hila Baggio — soprano. An Israeli opera soloist in over 30 productions; performed with the best orchestras in Israel and around the world.

Keren Hadar — soprano. Keren has a diverse international career, and she focuses on concert repertoire, theater music, Hebrew music, and folk songs.

Yael Kareth — piano. Head of the musical team in the Israeli Opera, where she also works as a singer instructor, musical director, concert lecturer and presenter, and content writer.
